Pale Meridian
Maps made of sound.
Pale Meridian is the Oslo-based composer Eirik Lunde. His work begins with field recordings — coastlines, ferry decks, power lines in snow — slowly folded into prepared piano and sub-frequency synthesis.
Cartography (SBL-021), his second studio album, is the label's twenty-first release, pressed on bone-white vinyl in an edition of 400.
