SABLE is an independent music imprint based in Berlin. Since 2019 we have released twenty-one records across electronic, ambient, experimental, and contemporary composition.

SABLE began in a rented rehearsal room in Wedding in the winter of 2018. There was no business plan. There was a record that needed to be pressed, a designer willing to work on credit, and a distribution contact who answered the phone.
We have been operating on roughly the same principles since. We sign artists whose work we believe in completely, and we give them the time, resources, and autonomy to make records they are proud of. We do not sign for catalogue. We do not sign for trend. We sign for the long version of a career.
